Emmery's one year Birthday

We celebrated Emmery's birthday this month and she had a ball. We had pizza, cake, and ice cream. She actually ate her cake and made a mess! I can't believe how much things have changed in just a year! We have a different life here in Denver and miss many things that we had back home...but we like many things here too.

Emmery is walking...some...she could do it all the time if she wanted but she still crawls most of the time. She says many words and mimics a lot of sounds she hears us make. She watches Ellice for clues on how to act and what to do! We love watching her learn and grow!

The warm weather in Carlsbad at Christmas meant Ellice was able to play outside, play with cousins, and eat a Snow to Go snow cone.

Ellice was able to go out to Bill and Cindy Travelstead's home and ride a horse while we were home at Christmas.

She had a blast and told her daddy that she wants a horse when he gets out of school...I am hoping she forgets before he is done.
